You really think with tear gas flying, darkness, body armor, loud noise which resembles gun fire (the movie) and people flying everywhere your buddies would have knocked him off? Ok, maybe there is something on their Bat utility belt that I am forgetting that would better their odds.

I agree you can beat the crap out of him after the punch but you still have a broken nose.
