Actually Rex has a strong throwing arm. He can really air it out downfield, but...his deep balls usually land in the other team's arms. He just fires and hopes he hits his target. Sometimes I think he closes his eyes when launching a deep ball.

If you just want a 70-yard pass, Rex is your guy. If you want a completion...depends on which Rex shows up that day. We don't get to see Good Rex as much as Bad Rex.

What? Rex has an average arm really. He was constantly underthrowing receivers. Plus, people always said that Beck had the stronger arm in camp, yet everyone still preferred Grossman.

Just because he's constantly going long doesn't mean he's got a great, rocket arm.

Gotta agree, Rex definitely doesn't have a great arm, he never has. His long balls tend to hang or come up short. He's ok on the short to intermediate stuff.

God do they hang up - I dont think he ever hit a wr deep without the wr having to stop or come back to the ball making it in effect a jump ball...........drove me nuts - Moss, or Armstrong would have five steps on the corner and the ball just wouldnt get there. ugggh. As a matter of fact THAT is what I want to see offensively out of the Skins vs. Bills - one deep ball thrown to a wr who catches it in stride and takes it in..........a la.... Brad Johnson to Albert Connell - that is the last time I remember seeing it. lol

Case in point. That terrible pass on the first play from scrimmage against the NYG in week 15 that was intercepted. Grossman has a gross deep ball.
