Let's give Pierce some credit here, I don't buy this talk that the system made him. He picked up on a complicated defense, learned a new position and became the undisputed QB of the defense. That's something to take your hat off to. He did a hell of a job last year.

Is he the next Ray Lewis? Not even close. But he's an above average player, he works hard and he's a student of the game. Definitely the kind of guy you want on your team.
