Re: Around the NFL...Preseason Week 2 Style

Dallas just always falls short of expectations and they have problems at wr, and on the o-line. The Eagles looked really good at the end of last season and added a few key guys up the middle on defense which was there glaring weakness - all depends on WHEN Vick goes down for 2 - 4 weeks, because he will - if its during or going into the playoffs they are in trouble - if its early they could still rebound. Giants will have a bad year - lets not forget the year they had after their last SB win. Last year they were 7-7 and got hammered by our Washington Redskins - than went on a run in which everything broke rite - catching the packers after their bye, etc. I would say the Eagles are the favorites rite now - but injuries, and match ups as always will rear their heads as the season moves forward. Its always the things you cant see coming that make the big difference. We play the Saints with most likely a healthy Drew Brees, but in week nine when the Eagles get them Brees might be out - lets just hope we are in the good graces with the football Gods this year.
