I don't want to absolve Morgan for his egregious mistake but....

The refs allowed this game to get out of hand. The rams to their credit came out physical to the point of over doing it. We kept our emotions as a team in check for a bit after multiple examples of over zealous chippiness it clearly started affecting us. Morgan's reaction wasn't just to a clear provocation but to a game of provocation.

Finnegan is the type of player the league needs to rid itself of but does oohing to do so. In fact he gets rewarded for his mouthiness over and over. pathetic.
