I agree with some folks on here saying that this signing has more to do with helping out with pass protection. Grant's addition also says that the Redskins needed to address what they think is an issue - protecting RGIII.

Hopefully, Grant runs well enough to not tip what the Redskins are doing on offense and continue to keep the opposing defenses off-balance.

I think it could also mean that we planning on running the ball more in the near future and would like to have another RB on the roster at full strength besides Morris.
