The difference is, Curtis Martin played in New York. That makes him better than you or I will ever be. For God's sake, he's got Pennington as a maybe!!!

And again, I'm not saying any of the players listed will or won't make the Hall. I'm sure reasoned arguments could be made for all of them - and he definitely left players off the list (Tony Gonzales is as close to a lock as anyone playing). My beef is that he is glorifying today's players using the same criteria that he keeps Art out of the Hall with.
