Amtrack goes to the "New Carrollton station": 1 or 2 exits past Fed Ex on the beltway.Don't know if you can catch a bus or another train (Metro) to the stadium.

Amtrak - Stations - New Carrollton, MD (NCR)

it is close enough to catch a cab without killing you.

This way. New Carrollton is definitely the closest to FedEx.
