Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

Just to summarize the thoughts of this board after today's loss in which the offense turned the ball over 4 times:

We should fire Jim Haslett & promote Raheem Morris
Sign Bob Sanders so we can bench Madieu Williams
Should've cut Logan Paulsen instead of Cooley (after Paulsen had a good game playing in relief of Fred D.)

Not going to name names but come on people.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

The game should really be 24-20 Skins or at the least 24-23 Skins. The giants didn't really make that rushing td second to last. The RBs hips were down and video shows it and the ball was at the 2 yrd line. It never should have been given to them. I still don't know what part of the play was inconclusive cause it was clearly seen on the replay I watched.

How so? Both were on the bench the majority of the time.

If anyone thinks the 4 tos were not a factor they don't know football. Obviously that killed us but again no excuse to give up a 80 yd td pass on 3rd and long period

Yeah but if we used picks and free agent moves on the secondary some other aspect would of our team would be shitting the bed. I dont think haslett is a good dc and i especially dont think so when we have to scheme great to cover up for the second rate players.

Yes they did but that gints touchdown at the end really overshadows the damn turnovers.

I think I've seen enough of Haslett. What pisses me off the most is the soft coverage in the red zone. Even Aikman pointed it out. It's happened over and over and over. Time to pack your bags. I wonder if we could get Wade Phillips and promote him to assistant head coach defensive coordinator.

If we don't turn it over 4 times I'd bet we would have won by 10.

We were our own worst enemy today.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

Safety wise I'd fire the whatever we got at safety now including the not/never healthy one. I'd look for some half decent fast safeties on other teams PS rosters or look at the CFL and bring in new young talent. If its a choice of having talent not playing to their expectations or having young talent playing to their expectations and growing I'll take the latter.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

The thing the bites the most about this game is the effort that RG3 turned in, yet our fate was the defense's hands.

Let me say this. Yes, the turnovers and penalties were egregious and unacceptable. But you don't let Victor fukcing Cruz run free on a fly pattern with a minute to go. That is simply unforgivable. And yes, I'm calling for Haslett to be fired.

Whether we want him to or not it's pretty much written on the wall
