Re: Ramsey and Brunell Trading Places???
Quote:
We as skins fans have seen wayy too many QB contraversies (I remember even I was pulling for tony banks to land the starting job a few years ago lmao) in recent years to want to start it up again after one preseason game, no matter what happened. And ramsey didnt do horrible against one of the league's best defenses. I think one of the reasons NO QB has done anything spectacular for us in like ten years is because they're uncomfortable with their jobs security. Fans and Media tend to make them that way, no matter what a coach tells them. So when we're on here and everywhere else calling for Campbell or Brunell to be the starter too soon, its almost like we as fans are shooting the team in the foot. I think the thing that bothered me so much about the situation was in the vbchat I looked at some of the guys' old posts. Some were talking about how bad the redskins were screwing over players, and others were basing assessments and assumptions on QBs based on anything but skill. (I'm not getting into that one). Those type of people just want to sit around and bitch, and when I get on my favorite site to talk with my redskin buddies about the first game of the year, (my first time to ever have that privelege, since I joined up after last year's season) benching ramsey and joe gibbs bashing over a preseason game is the last thing I expected or wanted to hear. I could have gone to a dallASS site for that. |
