You think they would have fallen off that much from last year when they were 13th?
I think they could have stayed top 15 or so. |

I give Fletcher that much credit for past play, also based on what Smootsmack says about him basicly being on the shelf except for games.

Good question. With Jackson and Meriweather the defense is more solid. Maybe an opposing offense would complete a long pass play on the Redskins defense every now and then but not at the frequent rate that's been happening all year long with Madieu Williams and Doughty playing safety. We'll never know if the Redskins would've been a top 10 defense had Meriweather been healthy and Jackson not been on suspension from them league. Haslett is not a bad defensive coordinator either.

Tanard had a bad test before we signed him. The FO already knew the situation. They were just hoping for a less punishment from the NFL. T Jax is probably still in the future plans.
