Sony makes more money on video games then the rest of their products combined. Madden is a hall of fame coach, an admired broadcaster, but he is absolute bonified video game icon. His name resonates like a fender stratacaster played by Jimi, it is pure legend in the video game industry. His label is a juggernaut in the software industry ranking up there with windows in terms of loyalty. Madden's legacy will be his game, like George Foreman's will be his grill's.
