See this is why I love the NFL. The only time Redskin fans would ever root for Dallas would be if it meant they could go to the playoffs or win the division should Dallas beat X opponent (mainly the Giants because well f the Giants).

I work with fans of various SEC teams and I see them all rooting for Bama to beat Notre Dame. I keep asking them why? Bama is a rival? Shouldn't you relish seeing them fall flat on their face on National Television? Sure they get money but they get that regardless of weather or not they win the game. Heck I couldn't even imagine rooting for Duke in March Madness. It would take them playing a whole team of Jerry Sandusky's to even get me to consider it.

Anyway thats why I love the NFL. No incentive to love your rival. Just pure unbridled hate.
