Re: What's your tolerance level?

For the most part, I like the team just the way it is. Harris and Ramsey worry me the most for different reasons. Although we have plenty of DBs, it still seems we're talent-thin at CB. I'm comfortable with our depth at QB but, Gibbs assuring Ramsey being the starter means he'll be the only one taking snaps in the preseason against the opponent's starting defense. That makes it harder to gauge Brunell's performance vs Ramsey's. I don't understand why anyone would have issuses with Dockery, Bowen, or Portis. Like Matty', we probably could've save some dough if Gibbs would've waited to see what he had in Betts before the Portis trade (seemingly Betts' running stlye is more in line with Gibbs wants to do with the running game). That's all behind us now. The MLB spot is still up in the air. So far, Pierce is missed. And the only guy on the roster with the same fire and fearlessness is Zack Keasey. Don't get me wrong. Marshall is a very solid OLB, but seemed a little 'lost' playing middle. It's still early. Thank God for coach Williams.

Re: What's your tolerance level?

Ramsey: I'd let him play as long as he was healthy. The fact of the mattrer is that the Redskins need to figure out if he is the answer to their questions at QB or if he is someone they can let go on the free agent market. If they don't find that out this year, they will create a dilemma for themselves in the Spring of 06. So, absent an 0-10 start where Ramsey has a QB rating of 42, I'd let him play and play and play.

Dockery: Similarly to Ramsey, the Skins have to figure out if this guy is a real offensive lineman in the NFL or if he is merely a big guy who sometimes can get in the way of a defender on the defender's way to the ball. I'd play him all year unless he is so inpet that he puts other players at some kind of injury risk. Personally, I think he is a marginal OL at best, but the best way to find that out is to let him stay in the games. Once you know that, you can replace him with a clear conscience which is what I suspect the Skins will need to do in the next year or so.

Bowen: Let him play until you think you have a guy on the roster who is better than he is. Then pull Bowen immediately. This is not a great talent nor is this a guy you build the defense around. He'd get very little slack from me - - unless there isn't a better safety on the squad...

Harris: He starts for me until Rogers shows - on the field as a nickel back - that Rogers is ready to play every down against top notch receivers without getting jerked around like a dog on a leash. Harris is not great by any stretch of the imagination, but he is not likely to be embarrassed either.

Brunell: If Brunell is in the games, that would mean that Ramsey is hurt according to my scenario for the 2005 season. So, if Ramsey is hurt, Brunell can play until the final two games of the season assuming that the Skins are out of playoff contention by then. Campbell should not hit the field this year in any meaningful situation unless there is no other choice.

Portis: Plays as long as he is physically able to play. Period. Exclamation Point!

Gibbs: If the fans - or Danny Boy - run Joe Gibbs out of town, what would entice ANY other competent NFL caliber coach to come here? Any Warpather who starts or participates in any stadium cheers along the lines of "Joe Must Go!" better realize the implications of what comes next. Maybe Lou Holtz? His gig at ESPN can't be paying him that much...

Wait so Ramsey gets 6 games and Brunell should never be allowed to start another game. So in your scenario, Campbell is potentially starting by Week 7?
