By all accounts, Shanahan has transformed the culture of this team by building through the draft and select free agents.

San Fran had been doing so before Shanny started, and Harbaugh was able to take a good, young roster and make it a very good team. Carroll (much as I dislike him) has taken an average team (7-9 his first two years) and assembled a young winner built to compete for the long term - in part because he got lucky with Wilson.

If you put RGIII in Seattle or SF, he would be crazy good. I think we are close to the same here. Another offseason like the last two and I think Shanny has the turnaround complete.
