we could always trade back for gardner, name him as the starting QB, shift portis to WR, and let sean play RB (that was his preferred position in the peewee leagues)...

my gameplan would be to put 5 jon jansens on the o-line, portis in the backfield, cooley our starting tight end, two moss's as the starting wideouts, david patten as the slot receiver, and we're set for the season.
