This reminded me of something my cousin said on Xmas eve when a bunch of us were standing around in the snow drinking with no coats on, just because.
He had just gotten back from an extended work trip in freaking Antarctica and someone said the weather must feel great to him even though the rest of us were freezing, but he responded back "Man, cold is cold."

I guess you can get used to just about anything, but that doesn't mean you have to like it.
