Turning Point
Ok....I made a dramatic thread title.
But I think this video is worth a new thread. I got a bit choked up watching it. It pretty much set the staging point on how the second half of this crazy/scary/great season propelled us into the playoffs. (note that the pinhead Ravens are now in the Super Bowl) (insert rolleyes icon here)

Re: Turning Point
bitter sweet, I mean Griff had the first down, but he has to learn to slide 2 yards back and bam we would be in the super bowl! lol

Re: Turning Point
It was a season turning point for both teams. RGIII's injury and the firing of Cam Camron.
If B-more wins that game who knows we don't make the playoffs and they continue with Cam and fall short of the Super Bowl. What a game!

Re: Turning Point
RGIII, Cousins, Crawford, and Forbath -- nice job, Bruce Allen. Just a great all awound team effort, especially by the youngsters. Loved that game.

That said, if everything else stayed the same, if we lost that game we'd still have gone on to win the division. So in hindsight, you kinda wish the Ravens recovered that Niles Paul fumble and RG3 never gets hurt...but it doesnt work that way. Either way, such an awesome game to watch.

Re: Turning Point
It was a great win no doubt but for me the week 17 game against Dallas to clinch the division takes the cake for me.

Re: Turning Point
Ravens game, both cowboys games stick out the most to me this season. New Orleans was cool to see RG3 for the first time, but that thanksgiving game against Dallas was like the potential RG3 has and can be by not just showing it to our rivals but to the entire nfl and fan base on national TV. We scored in every great way possible on offense and made Romo look like Romo. I miss that RG3, and I hope that he looks like that again but realistically I don't know if he ll ever be that fast and savvy on his feet again after knee surgery.

Re: Turning Point
^ Even if he lost a half step, he's still faster than most guys on the field. He's young, he'll recover. Plus he's a great passer, he doesn't need to run. He'll continue to learn and develop his game in the pocket and will still be dangerous with his ability to move around.

Re: Turning Point
There were so many great wins this year; Saints, Vikings, Bucs (I was there), Dallas I, Giants, Ravens, Dallas II... just a great season.
