superstar exploit...

Replay of my very own riggins superstar

seriously, i got a HOF RB (bruiser) father with 150 IQ, 100% on my IQ test and an 88 overall and I still couldn't get picked till round 3 pick 12... even though the next higest rb (that went at round 1 pick 2) is only an 84...
What's a guy gotta do?

anyways, you see the pic above, the offense tosses outside to the right from a goal line formation, the defense runs back to the left and out of your way, you break a lot of TDs and get 1 overall 4 stam and 4 awareness in one practice, and risk no injuries since there's barely any tackling in 100+ plays. In 15 minutes i ran for 3000 yards :P the other nice thing about this is its not the real defense, but special teams, so 1st team O guys get replaced with backups to make it even easier... this is on All-madden btw.

I had a pro bowl father (scatback) 84 OVR rb before, but he had 63 break tackles (opposed to 93) and he was on the lions trying to be a grinder... now i've got the riggins super power back running in a denver speed rushing offense... the whole superstar draft thing is borked.

Re: superstar exploit...

yeah I didn't get into the superstar. the messages repeat over and over and over again and there's only so many times I can enjoy running plays in PRACTICE mode. Did anyone else have any luck with getting another mentor other than dreadful Terrel Davis who finds sites that he thinks we'd find cool?

and the biggest flaw like TG said is that u could have perfect genetics, ace the IQ test, and handle your interviews perfectly and still not get drafted til the freakin 3rd round. which also sux for us skins fans since the skins didn't have a 3rd rounder this year and thus can't be drafted by them unless our superstar sucks, lol.

The best way I found to (eventually) be Redskin is to create a punter. When your contract expires in two years, Tupa is retiring and you can sign as a free agent.

That's sad that the best way for us to partially expirience the dream of being a redskin is to become a "superstar" punter. :frusty:

Re: superstar exploit...

i started my superstar all over again. this time, his dad was a hall of fame dual threat qb, my qb was drafted third round by the ravens, 88 overall, 88 speed, which is like as good as michael vick, but i don't want to play for the dirty birds. my solution is, i saved it right before the start of the regular season, when you can ask for trade, note you can only be traded twice before nobody is interested, so what i did was i'm gonna keep trading myself, after getting traded twice if i'm not trade to the redskins, i restart my ps2 and ask to get traded again. so far it hasn't worked, i haven't been traded to the skins yet but im gonna keep doing that until i am.

Re: superstar exploit...

well it worked, when i played today, the first try i was traded to the redskins. i'm now the redskins starting qb, 86 overall, ramsey is 84, and brunell is really low because he's out for the season, leaving me with myself and ramsey as the backup. the bad news is that the person that got traded to the ravens is jason campbell. i looked at him and he was 80 overall, and he's their starter. sniff i'm gonna miss him, i wish we would've trade brunell or someone else.
