I did and do think that Joe Gibbs knows what he is doing and that he will lead us to the playoffs. However, I cannot say that he can do no wrong. Brunell looked awful and, based on the little information we have about Brunell's injury, I'm not prepared to say it wasn't largely Brunell's fault. I don't doubt that the new system, coaches, and players made Brunell look worse than he really was, but I don't buy into this preseason hype about Brunell. Collectively we're doing a total 180 on Brunell based on little more than three preseason performances against backups. Moreover, those performances were merely good, not spectacular.
