as much as both of those things tick me off, i still think our team is better with him than without him. our secondary was exposed from a lack of pass rush and absolutly no help over top last year. hall is actually our most tenured player in our secondary, behind only doughty if i'm not mistaken. that is one of the things that this franchise has over looked for a long time, continuity. while he does run his mouth more often than i would like, along the lines of landry almost, i still think we are better with him rather than without.

all that said, there is no way i'm paying him $7.5mil to play here next year. there is a massive restructure in order. i could see us releasing him and resigning him. i doubt our front office has too much fear that d hall will attract alot of demand on the open market. i could see us giving him a decent 3 year deal, but if he wants $5mil a year or something like that he can beat feet.
