This kid look interesting as an undrafted free agent. He's DE, though too light for full time play. Had 20.5 sacks and 40 tackles for loss in his last 24 games.

i say after we cut trotter, candidate, and moore, we make a play to sign tony brackens if he'll come cheap. I know one college player i'll be watching to see how he does this year in hopes that the skins can get him is chris canty of virginia. I think our line is decent enough right now especially against the run and our lbs plus a decent pass rush specialist pick up will make our defense somewhat formidable. I'm probably putting more faith into Williams and his staff, but having a "real" defensive coach is going to work wonders with the talent currently on the roster plus taylor when he signs.

A thought about the D-line:
When the Skins signed Gardener two years ago, no one thought he would have the year that he had...he was a guy with loads of talent and potential, but never had really panned out. Maybe the coaches think someone like Griffin could be this year's version...without the attitude and back problems... |
