Thats what I am trying to figure out. Is it report by week 10 of the NFL or report by the week of our 10th game (Jets week ..nov 10 ish) .. or after the 10th game?

--------------

edit:

Section 15. Signing Period for Franchise Players: (a) In the event that a player who is designated and tendered as a Franchise Player has not signed a Player Contract with a Club by the Tuesday following the tenth week of the regular season, at 4:00pm New York time, the player shall be prohibited from playing football in the NFL for the remainder of that League Year, absent a show-ing to the Impartial Arbitrator of extreme Club or extreme personal hardship. The determination of the Impartial Arbitrator shall be made within five days of the applica-tion, and shall consider all information relating to such hardship submitted by such date. The determination of the Impartial Arbitrator shall be final and binding upon all parties.

^^^ This applies to players holding out on the Franchise tag though and not Trent .. I honestly cant find a clear consistent answer for Trents situation.

It's amazing how Dan and Bruce fuck this on on cue.
yeah, the buzz and hype around the Browns was the right time to strike. Nothing surprises me anymore. But at least Dorsey can now shut the fuck up about how the Skins wouldn't talk.

"Dan Graziano reports that since Trent Williams is still holding out, he can’t report to the team, which was reported to be his plan. The Redskins would have to request he be reinstated by the NFL Commissioner. Trent can’t report after the deadline, and still accrue a season which would have gotten him one year closer to free agency. Williams will now likely be sidelined until the offseason. The Redskins will get cap credits for the remainder of this year, and will have him under contract for two years when they look to trade him next year."

The trade deadline is not the same deadline as the day on which his contract tolls. He has to report next week to avoid being under team control for two more years.

NFL Live was talking about this very thing and the whole crew was in agreement ,the Skins mismanaged this very badly. They said the Skins wouldn't discuss TW just until yesterday afternoon and were asking way too much.

@AdamSchefter
A big move on deadline day: Trent Williams holdout is over, per source. He has reported back to the Redskins.

NFL Live(ESPN)crew said as long as he reports 30 days before the last game he will get credit for the year.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal

Let’s be honest the only reason Trent is still a redskin is because Patrick Mahomes got injured. If he was healthy Andy Reid would have called Bruce and offered Matt Moore for Trent Williams straight up Bruce giddy with the opportunity to get another Reid qb would’ve said yes

Can Trent show up and not play? Real injury, fake injury ... just refuse to play?
