Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
Personally I loved the BR pick from the jump. We needed a guy to turn to if/when Gibson gets hurt or keeps coughing it up. This year though Gibson might not get the job back. He's going to be on a short leash.

I did as well. No way they could just roll with AG again given his injury history and propensity to turn the ball over. I never really understood why people didn't like the BR pick.

Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
He should be on a short leash already. 6 fumbles last year and he didn't even make it to halftime of his first preseason game without fumbling again. He keeps dropping the rock - at this point it's inexcusable.

Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
I can see a situation where Robinson handles most of the main RB duties on 1st and 2nd downs and Gibson becomes more of a swiss army knife/3rd down back along with McKissic.

Gibson and McKissic on the field at the same time in a 3rd down back role for certain formations would be great. Tons of options for this offense.

Comes down to Wentz seeing and making the quick decision throws vs passing them up for longer developing plays. im worried about Wentz and west coast offense play calls. |

Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
You guys are gushing over Robinson after one pre season game..lol. . Might want to wait until he actually does something in a few regular season games. All he has done in the NFL is have a few nice carries in one pre season game. Just remember Matt Jones was the same kind of back. Not saying BR will be Jones but just wait until we get to the regular season, then we can judge him.
Gibson still has been a pretty productive player minus the fumbles. If he can clean that up he is still be a very good back. You need two guys. Take a deep breath folks. It's pre season. |

AG is a good back, and can be productive, but also cannot be trusted. I don't think we need any more of a sample size to prove that. |

Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
I don't even care about last week, it's about his tape at Alabama and the fact Gibson keeps fumbling.

Gibson was one of seven RB to go for over 1k last year, avg 4 yds a carry ... but he also led the league in fumbles. |
