Re: 2010 Combine

^ Matthews might be someone wearing the b&g next year. Am I wrong in thinking that he would fit well in Shanny's system?

I think he could fit well, but not sure we'll be drafting him.

Re: 2010 Combine

Skelton continues to be erratic

Robinson looked very solid. I'd take him over McCoy but I wouldn't take Robinson before round 4

Snead was sharp, passes were on the money. I still think his footwork needs some improving and he holds that ball so low he's a constant risk to have it slapped away.

I'm not sold on Pike

Yeah wasnt a fan of Skeltons performance. The commentators were even tearing him during the "gauntlet" drill. I have always like Zac Robinson and he just proved more today that he is a player. And it was good to see Jevan Snead get into a rhythm. Id take a chance on one of those 2 before i took McCoy.

Re: 2010 Combine

Skelton was projected at best to be a 5th rounder going into this weekend. He's done nothing to move up. If anything, he's dropped

Snead and Robinson were also in that 5th round range. I think they could slide up to round 3

I think Pike and McCoy may fall into round 3 as well.

Grimm is planning/expecting to be a Strong Safety in the NFL.

Re: 2010 Combine

If you hated the Eli Manning saga in 2004 and the Brady Quinn Campaign in 2007 then YOU.....HAVEN'T.....SEEN....NOTHING....YET. Coming this April from Radio City Music Hall the NFL Presents the 2010 Tim Tebow draft.

With countless footage of Tim Tebow in his living room, surrounded by friends and family, suffering for your amusement, as he waits to get drafted. Georgia fans say "It's a blast." Sam Bradford says "I'm glad I"m not him." and Jon Gruden raves "This guy is a football player." With apperances by Mike Mayock, Mel Kipers hair, and McShays anti-Clausen agenda.

This April get ready.....to be Tebowed.

Rated R, some content may be considered unsuitable for children.

Side Note: I personally love Tim Tebow but this whole draft is going to be about where Tim Tebow ends up. You've been warned.

Yeah, although I think that he could play OLB if he added about 20-30lbs, a source close to Cody told me that Cody will start on any of the 32 teams special teams, from day one he comes into the NFL.

Re: 2010 Combine

I could see Shanahan going after Hardesty in the 4th if he's still around.

Or Tennant the Center from Boston College who has been drawing comparisons to former Bronco's all pro center Tom Nalen, and also at the combine finished as a top performer for the 20 yd dash, 40 yd dash, and 3 cone drill.

Hardesty has been drawing comparisons to portis, and hey we can always replace one portis for another.

By the way he performed yesterday, I dont know if he will be there by the time we pick in the 4th. He did a whole lot of good for his stock at the combine.

As others have said it is encouraging that this RB class is deep, lets hope the one we pick up, if or when we do, can hold onto the ball.

Re: 2010 Combine

Damn ive been talkin about Hardesty for awhile. Said he looks like he would thrive in a zone blocking scheme since he's been accustomed to it. Plus he doesnt have alot of mileage on him because he was sharing carries until he was more the focal point his senior year. He was originally projected as a 4th round pick, but with teams like Houston and Seattle running Zone blocking schemes and their desperate need for a RB, i dont see how he can slip to the 4th with such a strong showing at the combine. Speed AND power. I hope, whether it be trading down or shippin out carlos rogers (cuz of signing Robinson), that we get a 3rd round pick back so we can take him with that pick. If we didnt need OLineman so bad i wouldnt mind takin him in the 2nd round but i think we pick too high in the 2nd for him. Agree?
