If I could think of that before the play, and i did, surely professional football coaches should be able to think of it. As for the onside kick recovery by Seattle - well, stuff happens. I wouldn't blame the ST coach for that one. The in-game coaching decisions by GB were terrible all game long. I got the feeling that McCarthy didn't vary one bit from what he had planned to do before the game started. That is a recipe for failure in a playoff game. Seattle should give him a game ball.

Re: Conference Championship thread
A deflated Football is used by both teams and thus would not favor one team over the other. The refs control the Footballs once they are out on the field. This is a bullshit story.
This is a story to fill a LONG two weeks before Super Bowl and keeps the NFL in the headlines. Lord knows the Probowl has become the biggest joke game ever. Fans were boo-ing the last game. |

Re: Conference Championship thread
Both of these teams are just awful. Pats have a fanbase that rival the Cowboys and the Seahawks are a bunch of crybaby whiners (same could be said about the Pats).
Bunch of baby back bitches on both teams. I hope they tie.

Re: Conference Championship thread
I doubt it. Between the Wilson hype and Richard Sherman's popularity, everyone is going to be rooting for the Seahawks. The Pats have become the NY Yankees of football. The only people rooting for the Pats are going to be from New England.

Re: Conference Championship thread
reasons for me is Wilson is a hometown kid, kam chancellor and the biggest reason is just physical defense.

Re: Conference Championship thread
Pulling for the Seahawks, eff Brady and hoodie.
One big take away from yesterday, mike McCarthy isn't as great of a coach most folks make him out to be.
