yeah, but isn't Drew Bledsoe your QB? Who is waiting in the wings for when he surely gets hurt? I think Dallas has a very good D which will help win them some games, but the offense...yikes... TO will be crying before week 4.

glenn played at the ohio state and i am not a owens fan but he is far from soft. i do think that mr taylor does have his respect but owens will catch balls over the middle.greg williams game planning along with shaun springs play has the skins achieving mild success against owens

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys - 2006 Predictions

that is a moot point because if brunell goes down, the skins are also in trouble

i think we are in a better position because of our quality o-line. i would much rather have a qb with no exp. behind a good line than one like they have in dallas. henson will be on his back as much as carr in houston

Me either.

And, correct me if I am wrong, wasn't it glenn that got plastered in the first game when the C-pukes needed a first at the end of the game?

I'm not going to say you are, but it seems that the collective Cowboy Nation is blowing Anthony Fasano. What I read in draft reports about him is that he's the best blocking tight end in the draft. I heard nothing about him being a stellar receiver. I think he'll make the running game better, but I really doubt he's going to be an offensive weapon. Speaking on the Redskins-Cowboys game only. The Skins never really needed to put extra people in the box to prevent RBs from going nuts. The Skins front four is extremely dominant. With the exception of MAYBE two big runs in overtime, LT himself was fairly quiet. And Julius Jones is NO LT. I think TO might make the game closer than we'd like to think and honestly and here comes the cliche, whoever wins the turnover battle wins this game. Both defenses are going to be great and who makes the fewest mistakes win. It'll be brutal, no doubt. If I were, god forbid, a Cowboys fan, my only concern would be so many rookies on defense.

It was Patrick Crayton.

No man Fasano is more of a passing TE great on the second line blocking according to reports that's why on the beggining they where trashing Parcell's pick of fasano because they said we allready have a passing TE in Witten who is a pro bowler, after parcell made clear we're going to go full time with the 2 TE set the pick made sense the idea is to not let the defenses charge 1 side.

and our backup is Romo not henson and as ther said if either QB goes down we both have inexpirience replacements, but I have more confidance of drew making it the hole season than Brunnell

I'd agree with you there. I think we're all concerned about that one. Still though, I know Parcells said it, but that doesn't make Fasano any better of a receiver than he was in college. I just take exception to the fact that he only had something like 8 TDs in his career. I also read how his speed was something not to be desired.
