Re: Eagles Sign Ian Scott

When I first read this thread I thought the Eagles signed the lead singer from Anthrax and then I realized his name is Scott Ian.

Uh, I think you are forgetting about #36 overall pick Kevin Kolb (sarcasm)

Well signing Rice would certainly fit the Redskins' pattern of getting a DE after they've already done their best work.

Please not Simeon Rice. Jevon Kearse if he's healthy & gets cut, but not Rice.

Do they really think Joe Salave'a is better than this guy?

I sure hope they're right ...
He suprisingly got very little love and attention from all over the league. I still don't know why really. I thought he'd be a higher commodity but he practically had to beg just to get interviews even.

He was out there for quite a while... there must be some reasons for that.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Re: Eagles Sign Ian Scott

I don't think we truly need him, and this probably isn't the time to talk about this per se. But I just thought I'd mention that the Eagles have released Ian Scott.

Didn't they release him a while ago? He was a big contributor on that Chicago D last year that was so dominant. I'm surprised he flopped in Philly.

Re: Eagles Sign Ian Scott

Looking back at this thread, some people wanted Rice - he was released by Denver a few weeks back, while I said Kearse if he was cut & healthy. He's been inactive for 6-7 weeks now. Not that we'd want him now, but I wonder if Philly will cut him next?
