Well stated. He needs to get better on the intermediate passes especially to the sidelines. He has shown a tendency to throw those high, probably being too careful. His deep throws are golden. Also, I believe teams will have to start to cheat up on us more this year so run, run, bomb may not be totally forsaken. I think Gibbs still believes in it strongly.

Re: Jason Campbell (Chances of Being Very Good)
i hope your right. because that was a fun offense to watch. and it didnt hurt having the posse on the other end of those bombs, either

He's already better than Leaf and Schuler from last year's performance. This year he will hit the NFL by storm....... You don't know how many annoying Giants fans have asked me who our starting QB is and don't we need a QB.......I need Campbell to perform and shut them up!! |

Re: Jason Campbell (Chances of Being Very Good)
I was fortunate to see JC's first start in Tampa Bay. Even the TB fans were struck by the poise and composure of the kid. Not to mention his physical skills. He's going to be something special

Re: Jason Campbell (Chances of Being Very Good)
We'll then have him bring it on Sunday. I don't have that kind of confidence in him. Did any of you draft him high in your Fantasy Football Leagues? I sure didn't. I have him as a third stringer.

Re: Jason Campbell (Chances of Being Very Good)
I think he's a nice sleeper. I have him as my backup in a few leagues. If you look at his numbers in 7 starts last year and just double them for this year, he would throw 20 TDs and only 12 INTs. That's not too shabby.

Re: Jason Campbell (Chances of Being Very Good)
Thats definitely a decent season for a 1st year full season starter..... I also have JC as my 3rd in two drafts so far.... a steal...... I also have another JC who I think might do well (jay cutler, 2nd QB) both JC's are behind the obvious #1 Peyton

Re: Jason Campbell (Chances of Being Very Good)
The best fantasy QB's are not always the best QB's, it's 100% based on the system......kitna is not even in the top 20 QB's in my opiinion, but he could put up the most fantasy points this year....same with bolger

Re: Jason Campbell (Chances of Being Very Good)
I predict he will have a better 2nd half ot the year than first:
First half he has 52% completion rate and skins go 4-4 2nd half he has 70% completion rate and we go 5-3. End season at 9-7. If we make the playoffs, it will because we go 3-0 at home against NFC east. IMHO J-dawg

Re: Jason Campbell (Chances of Being Very Good)
I love the fact that Campbell has been a winner both in HS and college. Some guys can have great raw skills that don't equate to winning football, Ramsey comes to mind. I really believe that Campbell can be a top-5 QB by the end of next season if he remains in Saunders' offense.
