You'd have to be an idiot to put ANY stock in this one.
For crying out loud, PFT's suckiness astounds me.

If I hear Pro Football Talk I automatically disregard any information they pass along. Unless like what SmootSmack said, if they happen to hear from leg sources.

Re: Bill Belichick possible candidate (Pro Football Talk Speculation)
ProFootballtalk.com is the sports equivalant of The National Enquirer.
Nothing to disporove what they are reporting, but I have never read anything accurate there personally. I do believe Spags is on the radar, because of his success in New York and Philly. Add to that his familiarity with teams in the NFC East you have to think he is a good candadite. |

Re: Bill Belichick possible candidate (Pro Football Talk Speculation)
See, PFT got it wrong. They overheard conversation that BB might consider coaching the skins, but it was not who they thought. That's right, I will be the next coach of the Washington Redskins.

Not gonna happen.
Belichick isn't going to come here when we already have a staff in place. |

Re: Bill Belichick possible candidate (Pro Football Talk Speculation)
Guys, when PFT said "some are speculating," I was the "some" they were referring to:
http://www.redskinswarpath.com/locke...tml#post415348 It's too bad they didn't realize that I was joking. My bad.

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, RETARDED THREAT
I am praying we name our coach soon so I can stop seeing these threads being started, but hey I guess you got me to read it........ PIPE dream Yes Bill is from ol Naptown, his dad coached @ navy and he went to Annapolis High, and signed photos of him are hung in random bars down town..... This thread has as much truth to it as if it said that Joe Gibbs were going to coach in San Diego again because his roots are there....blah

Listen, I know they already chose my coordinators, but I'm taking applications for a few valuable positions on staff. You can bribe me with positive rep points.

Re: Bill Belichick possible candidate (Pro Football Talk Speculation)
I guess my next qeustion is do they already have a coach and have not told anyone?
Just thinking that they have hired to staff the new coach wants, but Snyder is waiting until after the Super Bowl to annouce the coaches name. I know, pure speculation. But one would think a new coach would want to pick his own staff of assistants and coordinators. Not to mention the mandatory NFL gag order during Super Bowl week. Teams are HIGHLY DISCOURAGED to make major coaching annoucements so as not to draw attention away from the Super Bowl game. Who knows, there may already be a coach, but he has not been announced yet. |

Re: Bill Belichick possible candidate (Pro Football Talk Speculation)
It is absurd. BB isn't coming here. BUT let's just say Snyder made a run at him one day. All of you people that were bashing him for running it up on Gibbs would be sniffing his jock the minute he was hired.

Re: Bill Belichick possible candidate (Pro Football Talk Speculation)
I'd still think the guy is a major tool. I'm not a fan of someone running it up even if it was our guy doing it.

Re: Bill Belichick possible candidate (Pro Football Talk Speculation)
Belchick coaching the Skins = Jerry Jones owning the Skins.
Not gonna happen.

Belichick coming here might be the biggest reach that I've ever seen posted on this site. Sure, he'll accept his owner assembling his coaching staff prior to his arrival.
