Well then maybe we should get Sellers and Samuels on the outside running verticals, since, you know, they are pro bowlers and what Jason really needs are pro bowlers on the outside.

And look at you, while sitting on your "8 bad games" high horse, telling the rest of us that season-long issues around the offense aren't an excuse. Are you for real?

Re: Redskins@Cowboys NFL Network

I notice the original post mentioned he went 50 passes withou an int. but to me that was one of JC problems. He is so worried about throwing a int. that he does not take chances and instead of on 3rd down dumped off passes rather then going for the first down. I'm not looking for him to play like Farve but there are times when he needs to take more chances with the ball. Some of this probably stems back to Gibbs and his conservative approch to ball protection.

The point is how many plays can a QB make if everything around him is falling apart? Suer every once in a while you want to see your QB make a great play when the protection isnt doing it's job but you cant expect that all the time. Just think where Troy Aikmen would be without that Oline and running game.

Defense figured out the Skins O, at the beginning Zorn was new as a HC. By mid season, teams played Portis or the short pass (<5yds) on 1 and 2 downs, put us in 3rd and 5 to 7 yards.

Did you watch the game?
I kinda get the feeling you didn't.
JC was throwing the ball downfield.

Well said.

He made a bunch of great plays with the pocket breaking down, but then it would get called back for Casey Rabach being downfield or Stephon Heyer cheap shotting a dude or something.

Oh wait, but a real quarterback like Jay Cutler would have willed the offensive lineman to be more aware of whatever is going on behind him and would have mediated Stephon Heyer's anger in real time. Sure, Campbell's good, but if your Quarterback can't even control the behavior of players around him, is he really worth all that money?

Muff said that? Are you sure? I've never heard Muff speak that clearly.
