Check out Ben's stats compared to JC's . NFL Stats: by Player Category

Big Bens QB rating was 80.1 compared to JC's 84.3

I'd say that 102 million is kinda overpaying, wouldn't you?
Why are people around here so damn stat happy? Why???? The difference is Ben R. leads his team to victories in the 4th Q. and did it in the playoffs...when it really really matters. Ben R. is never going to be a huge stat guy. He's more of a playmaking type of guy who just gets the job done. It may not look pretty, he may not run the play how it was designed but he just gets it done when it matters. That's the difference between the two right now. Oh yeah he's been the QB on two SB winning teams.

Because you know what else is a stat? 102 million dollars.

I'd be willing to pay any qb $51 million per superbowl win. I think that's a fair rate...

But what if someone was willing to do it for $10 million per victory, AND make it easier by playing better? Wouldn't you take that instead?

wald wrong thread i think buddy, this isnt a JC vs ______ thread. i could be wrong.

i would want jack kent cooke's family to own the team like what should have happened 11-12 years ago. that way fed ex field would have remained Jack Kent Cooke Stadium like it should be. (i would diss on DS for immediatley stripping the late great JCK of his crown jewel and monument for skins fans years to come to remember the man by but this isnt a bash DS thread . . . or is it?)

go skins!!

Many of those mentioned would be far superior to Snyder. Pat Bowlen of Denver, as well. Jeff Lurie of Philadelphia. NY Giants ownership is a lot better. Steve Bisciotti of Baltimore. Outside of the NFL, I'd love to see Ted Leonsis buy the Skins. The list is very, very long.

I wouldn't want my favorite team owned by Bill Bidwill or Jerry Jones or the Ford family. Those are the only NFL ownerships I consider awful enough to be in the same class as Dan Snyder.

Yes. Having JKC's family own the Skins would be a victory for justice as well as a boon for the team itself.

Otherwise, Rooney is a good choice but I'd go Kraft. His record speaks for itself.

If I could pick any owner, it would be Rachel Phelps from Major League. Sure, she'd strip the roster down to lovable screwballs, but they would inspire themselves by looking at a cardboard cutout of her to make it to the Super Bowl.
