Re: Horton to miss 4-6 weeks
one of the most depressing things i saw watching that game (if you can call it that) was seeing cp cooley and samuels all side by side on the bench all in street clothes

Re: Horton to miss 4-6 weeks
all of you calling for landry to be benched are out of line! he missed a tackle, so what! there are another 10 guys that didn't make the tackle either, the guy is out of position and is being ask to be something he is not.

Re: Horton to miss 4-6 weeks
Horton had a rocky 2nd season, he made some nice plays but didn't seem to be at his best after an overachieving rookie year. Get well CH & be ready next year. Hope this guy is around for years.
Zorn last night on comcast seemed to say that LL would remain at free safety because he's "good there." I would agree, his speed & range protect against the deep ball. If they'd just get him to tackle better. He did stuff that 3rd & 1 in the 3rd though. Think everyone forgot about that after his whiff of turner on the td. |

Promote Lendy Holmes from the PS.

Re: Horton to miss 4-6 weeks
Today we IR'd Horton and resigned Ganther, according to PFT. Trustworthy link to follow.

Re: Horton to miss 4-6 weeks
I'm excited to see what Kareem Moore can do. I've been calling for him to get some FS action all year. He certainly is much faster than Horton, giving Blache the option to move Landry back to SS.

Re: Horton to miss 4-6 weeks
You guys are going to have to help me out. I didn't think we had any Safeties on the PS but if we did that's cool. I forgot about Lendy Holmes and Kareem Moore, but wasn't Ganther one of the LB's we drafted?

Re: Horton to miss 4-6 weeks
^ Thanks. I found it. He was the guy let go by Tenn. and we picked him up. Why does it seem that everytime we have and injury and put someone on IR we pick up a RB? Mason, Alridge, Ganther...then we cut Ganther last Sat only to bring him back today.
Apparently team officials seem to think RB's will fix our problems. |

Re: Horton to miss 4-6 weeks
More playing time for Kareem Moore. Move the hit-man to SS and play Moore at FS, he's a better talent than Horton who has not stood out the way he did last season. While I hate to see any of our players injured, this could be advantage Moore.
