Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert
With the Redskins, I have come to expect stupid on draft day. This rumor has really taken the wind out of my sails.

We were willing to trade our #10 and next years #1 and #3 to move up to to the #2. That #3 in the 2012 could be a #4 instead according to Smoot. They stated Gabbert, then Locker. I wouldn't be upset with them picking Locker at the #10 spot, but giving up next years #1 and #3 (or #4 whichever it is) is ****ing insane. |

Those people said Locker too? Interesting.

Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert
Shanny is thinking about a possible Sam Bradford like impact w Gabbert, the Rams roster was far worse than ours so anything is a possibility right now

Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert
For those that follow college ball closely, how does Gabbert compare to Bradford as a prospect?

Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert
You couldn't beat Bradford's accuracy & quick release plus he can read defenses better than any prospects last year

Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert
Well I didn't say he's as good as Sam , I was just saying he may be this drafts best and smartest QB. Shanny must like the guy a lot according to these multiple reports

Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert
I think Cam will go #1 to Carolina, but yeah that would seem to make more sense (at least to me) than moving up to get Gabbert at 2

Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert
They've stated that the if they can't get Gabbert, then Locker is the second choice. However, I don't think they'd move up to #2 just to get Locker. Like you said, I think they may move up a few spots for Locker, but if they want Gabbert, they'll have to go to #2-4 to make that happen.
It'll be funny as hell if the Panthers selected Gabbert or some other player to watch the dominoes fall. |

I think Cam could fall to us or beyond if he doesn't go #1

Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert
gabbert plays slow to me. i think he is too casual. he has ideal size and a great arm but he doesnt have college body of work to show for it that bradford does.
