re: Update: Seattle Trades LB Aaron Curry to Raiders
I thought Curry was going to be a force at LB in this league, which I am sure puts me in the same league as most people who were paying attention to the draft that year. Not sure what has happened to him but I dont think we need to bring him in here. Hes not really a 3-4 ILB and we dont need a project right now.

re: Update: Seattle Trades LB Aaron Curry to Raiders
Haven't watched him in Seattle, but maybe he's better suited to be a smaller 3-4 ILB? They had to pay him a pretty big deal, so maybe that's the motivation. If there's not too much left on his rookie deal you'd think they'd keep him, unless his play is really sub par.

Wow. I remember how highly touted Curry was during the '09 draft. What happened?

Think he started focusing on art, heard he was into sculpturing busts and rapping like Busta Rhymes

Pass rushers are often busts in the NFL, but all around OLBs like him aren't. I'd have to think about who the last pure LB was that was a bust. |

re: Update: Seattle Trades LB Aaron Curry to Raiders
Seattle is having bad luck with draft picks.
Tatupu went from Pro Bowler to bust really fast due to injuries. Curry. Okung isn't on the field much (we made a great choice...wasn't sure at the time though). They need Andrew Luck and I think they may get him without intentionally trying to. The Bengals have Dalton and he's looking good, the Panthers won't need another QB, Buffalo and Cleveland will no longer be in the bottom tier, Minnesota should win a few games just by having Peterson, St. Louis is better than their record. It's looking like Seattle will take the prize. Kansas City will be down there with them but I don't think they're looking to replace Cassel. Miami will be the one team they have to worry about that will be bad enough to contend for the top pick AND needs a QB.

Matty:
He is not living up to the standard you would expect from such a high draft pick but he does not stink...
