I know they have, it is puzzling why they weren't doing better before.

The 2012 draft looks pretty good right now as does the 2011 draft. The key will be replicating that w/o the benefit of first round picks. Getting Morris and Griffin in the same draft will look good long term, especially if someone else from this class pans out.
I wonder who, if any of them, have the best chance of that. I am hopeful that both Geddis and LeRibeus develop into starters on the line. I can see that taking a couple years though. Robinson ... I don't know, never felt good about that one. Bernstien I liked and wish was around but c'est le vie. Crawford, I think is has a low ceiling and may never develop into more than an adequate slot corner.

Robinson and Riley are your starting inside linebackers of the future.

I'm surprised, shocked, stunned that LeRibeus isn't starting yet. That's more a testament to the season Montgomery is having though

Gotta give the FO and Mike especially mad props at finding Morris, in the 6th round to boot. I too see the o line opening some nice running lanes, but Morris fights hard whether there's space and constantly gets yards after contact.

Been wondering if Royster will get some more work too. I'm NOT trying to fix what ain't broke or starting a Royster vs Morris debate, but I think Royster brings a little different skill set and using him will keep Morris healthy too.

Re: Kudos to Alfred Morris

Royster's been in a lot on 3rd down and passing situations because he's clearly a better blocker.

But with Williams returning, maybe Royster will get a few more carries and Morris will get some breathers.

Don't know for sure though. I wasn't expecting Keiland back

It'd be nice if one of the linemen eventually works out.

I think you're right. Keiland can give us some flexibility back there. It'd be nice to keep Morris around 15 carries a game considering he puts about 1.5 carries of effort/pounding into each one.

I guess if they can get get Gettis Stronger they think he can be something good in the future? He got pushed around a lot in the preseason but flashed good technique and ability otherwise.

If I remember correctly, the knock on Keiland W. was that he wasn't that good at blocking. Hopefully he has fixed that.

I haven't seen LeRibeye play at all. Has he been that impressive in practice? Did see on a PFF article that Monty is having a borderline pro bowl season.

Really surprised to hear that about Robinson. Pleasantly ... but surprised nonetheless. Has he played more than 10 snaps?

Keenan's been working his way up. Got around a dozen snaps on Sunday. I think at the expense of your guy CW

Plan with OL had been for Rib to develop over the first half of the season and ultimately either slide Lichtensteiger over to C and put LeRibeus at LG, or vice-versa. More likely the former, since KL is a more natural C than G. This would allow Montgomery to be versatile depth (the 6th man, so to speak).

But Montgomery's not letting go of that spot. The interior OL has really been unsung trio this season

I wonder how Robinson compares to the other linebackers in passing situations right now. I haven't seen him play very much but with his frame and skillset I feel like he could be one of our better LBs in man and zone coverages right away.

Re: Kudos to Alfred Morris

I can easily see rg3 being league mvp and rookie of the year and Morris winning offensive ROY.

The Ryan Grant move was so Willie Parkerish and the Keiland Williams move is so Keiland Williamsish.
