Re: Taylor or Winslow
For those of you who are kicking KW II around for hiring the Poston brothers, please remember that the current agent-of-record for Sean Taylor is Drew Rosenhaus. If anyone thinks he's a pushover or that he will cut Dannt Boy even a bit of slack in a negotiation, please remember that he is also Clinton Portis' agent...
Both Winslow and Taylor have tremendous physical skills. Neither is a mental giant.

Re: Taylor or Winslow
i'd say champ is one of the most over rated players myself (not to mention overpaid... vick gets an extra 20-25k people to show up, so he's worth his contract)...

Re: Taylor or Winslow
i'm not saying he's overrated because of his pay, i'm talking about his play. he is good but some folks act like vick is the greatest qb in the world.
and i agree with you about champ. |

Re: Taylor or Winslow
Also, I think that when people bash some people and not others, it seems to be the degree of "what an asshole" they are. In the end, it seems like we're willing to forgive assholes that are A) on our team or B) have do nothing to hurt our team. Winslow will be a pretty good TE in the future. I don't like him for his comments he made at the U, but everyone does stupid things, you know, like spitting on other team's players?

Re: Taylor or Winslow
No doubt Vick brings money to his home stadium, but he is not the Jesus equivalent to football. We had a huge discussion about how he has a LOOONG way to go to be the player that he should be.

Re: Taylor or Winslow
i don't know what your smoking daseal but as far as ray lewis being overrated, you don't get selected defensive mvp twice if your ovverated. and as far as lavar being a loudmouth, he can be a loudmouth all he wants cuz he backs it up with his play. 3 pro bowl selections in five seasons is damn good, and he deserves the contract he got. i couldn't care less about kw, because he plays for the browns and sean taylor plays for the skins. sometimes players make bad decisions, okay. im sure if you were a player, you wouldn't be perfect, having one agent all the time and having a little fun, but still he shouldn't have gotten dui, thats irresponsible. you have obviously forgotten what impact these guys have on their respective teams. im sure if we traded lavar half the people on team would be saying, what the hell were they doing. he is a vocational leader, and teams need that type of player. plus, you obviously don't care about stats. look at lavar's stats. are you saying that's ovverated. ray lewis isn't overrated, and if lincoln kennedy says lavar is overrated, i say that jug of jello is overated (im talking about lincoln kennedy).

Re: Taylor or Winslow
To be perfectly honest, Ramsey is a better QB than Vick (There are a LOT of better QBs in that sense of the word). I know people are like "OH MY GOD, HE DIDN'T JUST SAY THAT!" The Michael Vick that is playing right now, is a running back playing quarterback. I'm not saying that he doesn't win games and that he is not an exciting player to watch, but teams have started figuring him out. When you're one-dimensional that can only get you so far. Granted, if he ever develops a pocket presence he will be a force to be reckoned with. Without the GREAT supporting cast that he has, teams could just plan on stopping his running and that would be that. He has been in the league for enough years to start learning how to throw and it doesn't seem like he has yet.

Re: Taylor or Winslow
Mooby, just to correct you though. He didn't get a DUI. He was found innocent.

Re: Taylor or Winslow
oh yeah i forgot. and as far as some people say michael vick is the greatest, remember the nfc championship game last season. yeah, 24 rushing yards is something to be proud about, but come on, he needs to develop his arm before people start saying he's a great quarterback. quarterbacks throw the football people, not run 3 out of 4 plays. michael vick would be a great running back, simply because of the way he runs.

Re: Taylor or Winslow
I don't know. Being at QB makes him more of a threat because there's no guarantee whether he will run or pass. But I definitely agree, 24 rushing yards... not too great for him. Even though QBs shouldn't really be asked to be the leading rusher.

Re: Taylor or Winslow
I will give it to him on the fact that he was one of the top "rushers" in the league.
