Re: Skins v Rams pregame & predictions
offense: Eliminate Tunovers and the oline must play better
defense: Safety play needs to be better- must cover the TEs and over to provide over-top-coverage on Woods and Watkins. I think folks are talking about the wrong D-Line front...I gotta feeling our D-Line will have a coming out party vs their Oline.

I predict we run the ball less than 15 times.

Re: Skins v Rams pregame & predictions
was talking with a coworker and we were talking about how it makes us sick to Cook and Fournette completely running around and running thru folks but yet everyone says don't spend assets on RB, they are a dime a dozen.
yeah...

So... I think I'm happy with the Allen pick, but we have been whiffing on our RBs recently, maybe Perine pans out, but he needs to get himself on the field.

Re: Skins v Rams pregame & predictions
I think Offense will continue to struggle to find themselves in this game, I don't think Kirk will be quite as inaccurate, but our running game will still be suspect, Redzone struggles will continue, and I think it's a little early still to expect Cousins and Pryor to hit the deep ball consistently yet. I don't see us getting more than 2TD and 4FG. If we are going to win I think the D has to keep us in it. Also, winning the field position and TO battle is going to be key. I think this D can get 2-3 TOs in any given game (not on average), if the offense can limit themselves to 1-2 we're in good shape.
26-20 Skins

Need a line that can run block otherwise your back doesn't matter.

It's not a one game season. Everyone gets rich fat and happy on the Saints D. I'd like to see the line at least let Kelley get to the line of scrimmage w/out getting hit.

Yeah when all we can do is run left, teams pick that up fast

Re: Skins v Rams pregame & predictions
I think Cousins settles in here after being his typical spaz self in the first week. We would have put up a lot of points against the Eagles had some of his throws just been on target.
McVay though figures out a way to put us in a bind schematically, and scores his share of points. We win because Cousins is more settled, and Goff spazzes under blitz pressure. Redskins 30 Rams 27

The blocking was a major problem last year and nothing was done this off season to address it. I hate to say this, but we are a fucking finesse team now. Thanks Gruden and FO. I would much rather be a smash mouth balanced offense any day of the week. Leave the passing records for the stat geeks. |

On to Week 2 - vs Wash | Page 3 | Rams ON DEMAND
Rams fans certainly are an optimistic bunch. Big win week 1, new wonder kid head coach ..... honeymoons always seem to go well. I forgot how much I hate the Rams.

Re: Skins v Rams pregame & predictions
After reading this, I totally forgot they have Sammy Watkins... Argh.
He's nasty when he's not hurt, and people like that typically just own us for some reason.
