It'd be third down if they didn't, right? Why give them an extra down to get in the end zone.

This is where Gibbs/Saunders go into a complete shell if they've lost faith in Campbell after the turnovers. I say take the high percentage passes to Cooley - Bufallo hasn't stopped that all day.

But it would have pushed them to the brink of out of field goal range and it would have been 3rd and goal from Waaaaaay out.

Worst case scenario you give them another play and they throw a TD, that would be a disaster

Taking it would have been 3rd down from the 22. Declining it was 4th from the 10. Why accept it? To give them another shot at the endzone?

I think we need to keep pounding it. IF we can wear down that d line, maybe we can close out this game...

I think the risk vs reward wasn't enough to make that decision.

Because we would have pushed them far out.

OOOOH wait...the hold was deep wasn't it? Nevermind...I get it now. The hold was at around the 5, so it would have put them at the 15. I thought the hold was on the line.

It's from the spot of the penalty not the line of scrimmage.
