Re: 2009 Free Agents
Yeah I brought up Canty in another thread. We should talk to him.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
What I like about both of these guys is that they are big, tall and physical.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Olshansky is 6-6 309 lbs. I didn't realize he was that big. The Cowgirls are also interested in him. Only 26 years old too.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Buffalo released Angelo Crowell. Does anyone know how good he is and if he played strong side. Where is ThatGuy, he seems to have left us. I always enjoyed his insight, even though he always acted like a know it all.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Crowell is pretty good. He plays strong side but he missed last year with an injury and had knee surgery. He's only 27 and could be a good value for someone willing to take a chance.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
The Redskins love players that are recovering from injuries. We are in need of a cheap strongside linebacker. I think this sounds like a guy we will go after.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Olshansky nice big man , from Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. You know this guys tough. But he was only half as productive in 08 as compared to 07. He played all 16 games both years. Not sure about this guy.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Maybe we should start the transition to the 3-4 D It seems like all the big names are coming from or wanting to go in that direction. I wonder how this will affect or limit future FA aquisitions since more and more teams are going 3-4.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
As long as Blache is DC, we won't be moving to a 4-3.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
MAck has pulled out of the combine with an injured ankle, but an interesting thing I heard from mayock which I think you all should realize is that he falls on his back a lot, which can be a problem... What is your thoughts on maybe getting a max unger who can play any position on the oline, or eric wood who is not that different from mack... Also after watching the combine I think AQ Shipley is a decent looking center and he's a four year starter whose started since he was a freshman I believe
And to SFREDSKIN, I hope/ think your wrong about john Jansen he's got to go |

Re: 2009 Free Agents
I know Jansen is the type of player who will not quit and we'll come back to prove everyone wrong, I have a gut feeling that he will. I'm putting on my flame suit as we speak.

... on a side note Kendell, while the best of our interior lineman last year anyway, is also the smallest by just a few pounds. It will be nice to have either Jansen or Rinehart in there to add some mass. Rinehart is huge i so hope he can rise to the challenge soon.
