Coronavirus (sports edition) thread

Not blaming the rest if the world. Lol. Was just agreeing with you about the spread in the rest of the world being a problem…. Sports…one game does not a hof career make. Dude never had a single season where he threw more td’s than int’s. He is definitely the only quarterback in the hof with that on his resume. I lied two different years out of 15 i think he had two more td’s than int’s. Overall 173 td’s, 220 int’s. That is rough. |

Luckily the herd that is getting shots is the bigger herd. Also hoping the delta is freaking people out enough to grow the vaccinated herd even more. I think it is, and I think we will get there. But ill be damned if we aren’t doing it the hard way. |

Agreed. The Joe Namath argument is about to become the Eli Manning argument. In Joe's case, it's an underwhelming career defined by achieving the impossible, for Eli it's the same but he achieved the impossible twice. Eli will get in because of his last name and his two career highlights (to his credit they were both incredible that will stand the test of time).

Eli Eli Eli. That damn pouting face might be his demise. I would not put him in if I had a vote and it has nothing to do with my hatred for the Vagiants. When he had bad teams around him the record always reflected that. It isn’t like he was winning 10-12 games every year because he was awesome- like his brother. Or Rodgers. Or Breese. Or Brady. Those guys were/are worth 10 wins by themselves. Eli is worth a few. They should make one bust for him and namath. They both get half in. Coronavirus comment- what is the vaccination rate for the Redwolves (lol) currently??? Last time I saw i think it was around 75? |

Good morning.
I just wanted to say I love you all. Hug your babies. Anyone know what the current vaccination percentage is for the WFT? Last I heard it was 84% I think. |

All three of these statements are true: 1) The more people the virus spreads to, the greater the chances the virus will mutate to form new variants. 2) When the virus encounters vaccinated hosts, it gives rise to the possibility for new variants, as it adapts to survive and continue to replicate. 3) The impact of 1 above is greater than the impact of 2 above, so that if more people are vaccinated, on the aggregate, you reduce the potential for new variants to form.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
I found this.
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ion-threshold/ "The NFL reports that 90 percent of NFL players are at least partially vaccinated. The league hit that mark today, spokesman Brian McCarthy tweeted. Nine teams have more than 95 percent of their players vaccinated, and 27 teams are above the 85 percent threshold." |

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
Ryan Tannehill to the COVID list.
It sure seems like COVID will hit some team at the wrong time, and WFT still seems one of the likeliest candidates. |
