We would be better off blitzing him every down if he was the nickelback.

Re: What are we doin with our D-Backs?

I want to see one explanation how the Redskins would be better by taking Springs off the other team's best receiver and putting him at safety.

I don't want to hear about health, I want to know why it would make sense on any level to take your highest paid member of the secondary and put him at Strong Safety when your #2 and #3 corners have proven that they cannot cover #1 receivers.

This isn't fantasy land, this is the NFL and Springs is the only player on our team who has shown that he can cover a #1.

i agree with you. i like both rogers and smoot but neither one has shown they can cover a teams #1 wr. springs, on the other hand, is a top 5 cb when healthy.

Re: What are we doin with our D-Backs?

Ive played football at every level from pee-wee to arena football, and I know that being a cornerback in the NFL is not something you just start out being good at. I believe that Rogers did it pretty well last year and if he can do that well his first year think about where hes gona be in his third year. They are being asked to run as fast as you can and stop on a dime and change direction all in a matter of a mili second with no warning just going off of instict. A shut down cover corner-----thats gonna become a thing of the past. Dont sleep on Rogers. Smoot better feel lucky to play the role player. GO SKINS
