I am not trying to be a dick (it just comes naturally!) but this is a waste of a thread. Barring an injury, Portis is the feature back. No questions asked.

I think it will be Portis, but I wish it would be Betts. Don't get me wrong. I still want Portis to be the number 1 back, but I think that he could be more effective if Betts got the defense breathing hard first.

I see both of these guys being able to control the third and fourth quarters of games next year.

Since the good ones are taken already, I'll go with...

The skins go 3-and-out on 3 straight passes, but a fake punt by Derrick Frost racks up the first 1st down of the season!

I hate to say it... but this is probably closer to the truth... we have alot of issues that have not been addressed.

Well, I think this will happen. The Redskins will bring 2 balls on to the field. CP and LB will both be in the backfield. Jason Campbell will hand the ball off to Betts, and Betts will run crazy to the right side dragging the entire defense with him. Then Portis will take the real ball, which he has been hiding behind his back the whole time, and take off down the left side for a touchdown. It's ingenius I tell ya, and the only thing stopping us is that the NFL won't let us have two balls on the field on the same play. So that's where Dan Snyder and his fat wallet comes in.

Guys, guy, guys!, this was never intended to be a debate between CP, and LB. We all know that CP is the number one. Throw that "well he's the number 1 back" crap out of it. Here is the new question. Would you hand off the ball to Betts first to mess with the OPPONENTS head (notice I said opponents head not ours), or just give it to CP on the first carry.

Id really like to see Cooley get the first carry.

It's not unpresidented.

It's a statement year for portis. I'm given him the first carry. LB is a close second.
