Re: Santana vs. Randy
If the Broncos were like, hey Danny Boy, we want to trade you Walker for Moss. You would do that?!

Re: Santana vs. Randy
Gabe, that all depends on cap hits and salaries. Javon Walker in his 3rd year in the league had nearly 1400 yards, next year he got hurt, year after in a brand new system he had 1100 with 8 TDs. Pretty damn solid.

Re: Santana vs. Randy
OK, it works like this ... once Lloyd gets his #$%@ together, and becomes a legitimate threat again, Santana sees less double-teams. With ARE running the underneath routes against slower LB's, Santana could be unstopable.
But what do I know ... I just tape every single game, and review the darn things looking for reasons to keep on keepin' on. |

Run after the catch ability is so vital to the value of any given receiver. If I had to guess, I would say that 2/3's of a guys value is determined by his ability to make plays after the catch. No one is better in this respect than Smith and Moss. Not even Randy Moss.

Unless you are taking his performance from 4 years ago (a really long time), Randy Moss doesn't belong anywhere near those other guys. Owens probably doesn't either, but at least hes done something in the last 3 years. Randy Moss' on field play cost the Raiders points over the last two years. I can't stress this point enough. He cost his own team points, and he's on your list of elite receviers. That's wack.

Ownes led all WR's last year in TD's w/ missed time and a broken hand. He's a pain in the ass but that SOB produces. Why do you think JJ is paying him the roster bonus? He knows he needs him to win. |
