Re: Is J. Taylor really needed?
Perhaps the Skins are a better team and thus take away the luxury for the Opposing Offense to key solely on him?

Only if we want to improve our pass rush.

J Taylor Will Be Fresh When He Come Back. The 2nd Half Will Be The Time
To Judge This Trade. It Will Help A. Carter From Teams Doubling Him. |

Re: Is J. Taylor really needed?
As good as the D-Line has played without him, a healthy Taylor makes them that much better and more dangerous. It also takes some of the pressure off the secondary with a faster pass rush that makes QBs throw in haste.

Oh yeah, do the Skin fans that grew up in the Dallas area that never been close to the city of Washington DC have bad parents? I would have gone to Irving last week, but my sister was in a horrible 3 car accident Saturday morning. It looked grim at first, but she is recovering nicely. |

Re: Is J. Taylor really needed?
Jason Taylor is not a HOF'er.
I was against trading for JT as well. Carter and JT are basically the same player a RDE and IMO JT has little left in the tank. Neither is cut out or will hold up at the strong side LDE postion for an entire season, which requires usually going up against the other teams stout-est against the run OT. I hope I am wrong. Evans is closer to a LDE then either JT or Carter. IMO we are a better over all defense with Evans and Wilson rotating than with JT playing LDE fulltime. We were not that much better at rushing the passer when JT and Carter played together. Teams ran at our ends, just like they pick on Doughty on pass plays, they are our weakest links. |

Forget Taylor, we need Springs healthy most of all for Sunday. We have two starters on D out and they get possibly two starters back on O. My question is, can Shawn's replacement take Hall?

Re: Is J. Taylor really needed?
Sorry about your sister. I hope everything turns out well. I just feel like people should represent the area that they live in unless they are a transplant from another area. Makes sense to me. Personally I don't care who roots for the cowgirls, they will always be a bunch of overrated ass -wipes to me.
