Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions
I'm with Hogroll, I don't have good feelings about this game...especially if Chris Samuals is not able to go.

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions
I dont predict scores because I'm paranoid.
But the Skins will have to come out of the shell they've been living in the last 3 weeks. To win this game, the playcalling must become way more diverse. I expect a ton of blitzes against us. I sure hope Samuels can play What you see called against Pitt will be similar against the Giants....hopefully. They should use draws, screens, reverses, bootlegs, TE slants, and runs straight up the gut, ...no sweeps please. This defense is good, we need misdirection to use the entire field from sideline to sideline. Devin Thomas will need to come in will Moss to stretch the safety's and CB far off the line. There will be sacks, yes...but we may get some good chucks on draws too. Regarding defense, Taylor being out could be a blessing in disguise, we need James in there more to see what he can do. I like our d in this game as long as Willie Parker is out. Does anyone have an update on Willie Parker?

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions
The Steelers are hurting on Special Teams (long snapper hurt his knee and punter pulled hamstring against G-men) I think this game will come down to Special Teams play..

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions
This game is going to come down to who will impose their will on the other's Defense. Once again, I won't predict, but this should be a good game, especially since its Monday night @ home

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions
They have to get to Big Ben -- just once I'd like to see our team absolutely harass the opposing quarterback. Doing that will force Roethlisberger into some mistakes and help our defense get some turnovers.
Just like what we saw with Moss cashing in a punt return for TD, I think we'll need help scoring from our D and special teams. If Samuels is out or ineffective, I don't like our chances. This is the type of game where you better have your full arsenal of weapons. I'll be interested to see Zorn's strategy for this one -- will he catch them off guard and line up with 4 and 5 wides in the shotgun? Or will he try to go toe-to-toe and smashmouth 'em? Seems like they're going to have to get a good mix and keep the Steelers guessing. |

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions
I actually think that this is the week when the score won't be close, and I have no idea who will win it. Both teams are exhausted and have some key personnel dinged up or out, and I think it is a momentum game such that whoever roars out to a good start and wins the turnover battle will run away with it. Could be us; could be the Steelers. I think the final will be 30-13, and I hope we're the ones lighting it up.
I will say that I think this has the feel of the toughest game we have on the schedule. |

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions
I think the steelers are gonna have 8 or 9 starters questionable or more than likely out. There secondary is a weak link.
JC air mail time, with a nice dose of CP.
