Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!
Oh and forgetting scheme and execution for a moment, one thing our defense does do week in and week out is play physical. We are definitely a physical team right now. I think that has been a huge thing keeping us in games when we're getting outplayed in other ways.

How about Banks? You just know he's going to break one for a score sooner or later.

Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!
Very true. If we stop getting penalties on every damn kick/punt return he'll break more than one. The penalties on teams seem to happen each week. Way too much. But back the positive he looked good back there again. Played smart too.

Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!
I thought the same thing. I didn't cringe this game waiting for a fumble... this time I was just waiting for him to break one.

Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!
Can't believe nobody has mentioned One Man Gang aka Lorenzo Alexander! dude was all over the place, in the backfield & on the goal line stop in pass coverage.
other than him: -30 -Orakpo -Dmac was spotty and missed on a couple easy ones but he got it done when it counted -D Hall and Carlos shut it down -Moss, AA and Cooley -Banks, Hunter The one and only Punter, Gano and Sellers were studs on Special Teams

Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!
Too many positives to say we are a substandard team. Armstrong and Orakpo are the really big positives for me. AA shut me up as my first post of the game thread was bitching about not having anyone compliment Santana at WR, and then he does his thing later on in the game. We still need to consider drafting one or two Wrs in the next few drafts though. We need another WR to get a killer starting 3 and another for depth and to eventually replace Santana. Orakpo is just a beast. What AH can't bring Brian can. I say we trade AH in the offseason for mid round picks and get a G and a WR with those picks.

Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!
Everybody has talked about the goal line stance by the D, I think that just as important was Torain getting out of the endzone when McNabb threw the short pass. He was hit in the endzone and muscled his way out to prevent a safety.

Minor gripe but it's stand, not stance.
