Like I've mentioned before, Quinn is reportedly getting a lot of buzz inside Redskins Park. He could be the "surprise" 1st round pick. Anyhow, as to your question. I haven't watched too much Newton yet. But from what I have seen he's got a lot of potential. But I see more potential than productivity, and that kind of concerns me. And I feel like some of his weaknesses were masked. So I think I'd almost rather take a chance on a Mitch Mustain in the 7th round than a Newton at #10 overall. I was under the impression that Locker would tuck the ball and run more often than I'd like. But watching the games, first I was impressed with his accuracy on the long ball. I did have some concerns about him telegraphing his passes sometimes. But what really impressed was his ability to get out of the pocket and then set his feet and his body and throw the pass. He can avoid the rush, and throw on the run but at the same time have his feet set and throw a strong, accurate pass.

Re: As Is 2 Round Dream Draft
1st Round: Cam Newton. Im ready for him to become the face of this organization and turn us around, and his upside and play-making ability cant be passed up. If not Mallett would be acceptable, I would like Locker, and be mildly upset if we take gabbert.
2nd Round: Justin Blackmon or Jon Baldwin IF pouncey is gone. |

Re: As Is 2 Round Dream Draft
Im not a draft expert nor do I pretend to be. I have not watched enough college football this year to say who would be the better qb to pick for us if thats what we decide to do with the 10th pick. I will say this because we are picking 10th whoever we pick better be a starter day 1 ,and has to be a impact player for us for years to come. If not then that was a bust pick when you pick that high. Over the past few years we have drafted high on players such as Laundry, Rogers, Orakpo, Taylor ( RIP), T.Williams and J.Campbell. As you can see out of these players a few of them have played very well. We must draft on needs but also consider best player available.
With that said I would like to see us take 1st rd Best available player ( QB or Pass Rusher) 2nd rd Best available player ( QB, OL, DL, RB).

Re: As Is 2 Round Dream Draft
I heard that they are going to change that guy from a fullback to a punter.
