Seriously though, any amount is greatly appreciated. I've had people give a couple of bucks all the way up to $50. |

Honestly, this board is setup very well. Easy to navigate, there are many options for skins (could that be part of the server busy problem?) By far some of the most informed and passionate fans I've been able to find. Everyone who I read on a consistant basis knows what their talking about. Every now and then someone will come along but they don't last long... except me! I'm here to stay till I get banned!
Chat would be nice, but I think a lot of us have AIM and make that information easily obtainable. I talk to skins, malcolm, cpayne, gmanc, JoeRedskin, etc on AIM from time to time! I would like to see more of a "site" to go along with an amazing forum. You certainly don't want to handicap the strength of this site, which is its community, but I feel that with all of the talented authors we could really beat out extremeskins, etc for top skins site. However, that may also deystroy the type of site this is with everyone spewing the type of trash you see on extremeskins. JoeCrisp, SportsCurmgedeon (maybe he could do a special article for you not on his site!), I know SmootSmack has some connections, maybe some interviews. Like another viewer suggested maybe we can find someone who can do video editing, etc to do weekly highlights! So far Gmanc's (pretty sure it's him, if not I'm sorry!) films have been very good, only thing I'd change is use the sound from the games if it's a weekly thing. Clips from many different games I prefer sound. Either way - if it stays how it is it's still better than anything out there! |

With the Avatars: Maybe have an old school and new school option that when you sign up for the sight you choose old or new. This would allow you to do something like the Hogs, or Posse as an avatar.
When you get on the new sever maybe create a large history section. Find someone to dig up all the stats from seasons gone by. If not every fumble, at least transactions lists and detailed draft info. I mean everything like we traded our first and third pick to get Dan Wilkinson back in 1998. Those picks turned out to be Takeo Spikes and ... Also a records list, such as team records. Mostly anything and everything that has been great about the Redskins so new Skins fans can understand the past. Mainly I love the look and feel of the site. There really isnt much that I can think of that needs changed. Keep up the great work |

As far as video's, I absolutley love making highlights, and I would love to do somthing on a weekley basis. The only problem is I cant get the clips to my computer, so I would have to rely on that EX Skins guy, unless someone else can get the clips up here. Either way, let me know if I can help anything in any way. If we dont change anything though, its fine with me. This is one of the best run sites on the web, and I love coming here. GOod Job Matty and Crew!

I was wondering if anyone here uses the "forum links" that run down the middle of the home page? Personally I find it hard to read so I always click "Forums" or "New Posts" and go from there.
I was thinking if others agreed then maybe the middle column of the home page could be used for something else? |

What I don't want is what they have over on Extremeskins were the list of the latest discussions is listed way down on the homepage, "below the fold." I like that it's the first thing you see on the warpath homepage

I usually just click lockerroom then start at the top and read them. I do look at the middle intially to see if there are any new threads. I tend to forget to look at the other forums, so it would be great if it also showed new threads in the other forums. There arent used as much so that would be a good way of knowing if a thread was started there.

I have two questions. Why was the message limit dropped to ten. I just went to send a message and i couldnt because I had 11, and it said that was over the limit. I didnt notice this change until today, was there a reason for it? is the server filling up?
And also, the 45 second wait to post again, when was this changed made. Several times I have posted a comment. Then went to the next thread, read the new post, typed something and then had to wait to post it.

I've always kind of yearned for a more graphically-oriented front page, too. Kind of like a magazine cover, where you have the nameplate, a featured photo surrounded by headlines and topics, and the other links to different site features. Once I get into the forums, I don't want the clutter of graphics and images, but it would be nice to see something like a "pic of the day" on the welcome page. I also agree that we probably never want to get to the size of EX Skins. There's just too much damn clutter, and the thousands of voices drown each other out. As far as the video clips, I have a pretty good ATI TV tuner card, and I saved most of the games this year, but I'm still figuring out the best way to compress them, both for burning them to DVD, and also for transit over the internet. I'm a bit of a novice at the whole video editing thing, so I wouldn't want to attempt to make highlight films myself, but I'd be happy to try to send you all the video you need, Gmanc711. |

Re: Site improvements
JoeCrisp: I am not sure but dvd shrink my help you. It is freeware and you should not have trouble finding it on the internet. It works pretty good for compressing dvd's. Just thought that might be of use.
