Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
I remember hearing several horrible stories about Jay S. One was his attitude became so bad before the SB against Denver that Gibbs was almost going to bring up Mark Rypien and de activate Schreoder.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
Absolutely, he was shut-down dominant. Didn't matter who he was going against.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
Interesting point by Elfin:
David Elfin @davidelfin My old buddy Jon Leibowitz noted the irony of the Hogettes hanging up their snouts on the day that Joe Jacoby wasn't chosen for Canton.

We will forever be Redskins’ fans and cheer for our beloved team. It is a new era and we will continue to support RG3 and his teammates. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!! We will also continue to help (incognito) raise money for Children’s Charities.” Man, I thought that these guys (or their heirs) would outlast me. |

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
i think had Lachey started his career as a Redskin and played his entire career here, he would get in.But if I remember he only had 3-4 great seasons, then the injuries got him from 93 til his career ended. But IMO that 91 line was the best O-line ever assembled in the history of the NFL, and Lachey was the anchor.
